The barrel-fermented 2014 Sancerre Etienne Henri is the icon wine of Henri Bourgeois, a clear, complex and full-bodied old vines selection from Saint-Satur's flinty-clay terroirs. With clear, bright and fresh fruit aromas on the deep nose, this is a mouth-filling, tight and elegant Sancerre with a firm, persistently mineral and phenolic structure and a stimulating grip; it also has a lingering salinity and aromatic flavor in the long finish. An excellent wine for approximately one decade.
